A Texas Rangers fan who wore a shirt that declared "Yankees Suck" was asked to turn her shirt inside out or leave the Arlington ballpark before the start of the game against the New York team, according to media reports. Kristen Knapp-Webb of Carrollton and her husband Walter had gone to the Rangers game on Tuesday to celebrate their 19th wedding anniversary, according to KXAS-TV. "I said, 'But it's not profane. Why do I have to change my shirt?'" Knapp-Webb told the television station. "He said, 'The Texas Rangers organization considers that shirt to be profane.'" A Rangers spokesman said the organization implemented a code of conduct for fans after receiving complaints about shirts such as hers. "That particular phrase is one we've received a lot of complaints about," spokesman John Blake told KXAS-TV. "That kind of thing is offensive to a lot of people, especially if you have young children and that kind of thing. And I think that's why we have that policy."
