The Mets won't have to place shortstop Jose Reyes on the disabled list with a right calf injury. Reyes was determined by doctors to have some tendinitis in the area, and is listed as day-to-day. He could play against the Red Sox this weekend, but New York is expected to be cautious with their shortstop. Reyes is hitting .279 with two home runs, 15 RBI and 11 stolen bases this season.
