Carlos Delgado will undergo arthroscopic surgery to remove a bone spur and repair a torn labrum in his right hip, the team announced Monday. The surgery is set for Tuesday in New York City. Delgado, 36, was placed on the disabled list Saturday with an impingement of his right hip, which caused a tear of the labrum in the joint. It is an identical injury to the one suffered by Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez and Royals third baseman Alex Gordon.
