Mets general manager Omar Minaya says that he is content with the team's leadership, which he feels he supplemented this offseason. "When you add guys like [Gary] Sheffield and [Alex] Cora, they give you something different," Minaya said. "We needed that. I think it will pay off in the end." When asked if he seriously felt as though Sheffield and Cora were the keys to the team's toughness and leadership, Minaya held his stance. "I'm very comfortable with our leadership," he said.
