Brewers' general manager Doug Melvin claims that there are no trade offers on the table for either Prince Fielder or J.J. Hardy. Melvin admitted that he did talk with Seattle general manager Jack Zduriencik, the Brewers' former scouting director. Melvin wouldn't reveal which names were discussed, but the Brewers are known to have interest in Mariners' closer J.J. Putz, who is available.
