The Mets are expected to make offers to their desired free agent targets this week. A person familiar with the situation did not specify which day GM Omar Minaya will deliver the offers to Francisco Rodriguez or Brian Fuentes. He also could make an offer to starting pitchers such as Derek Lowe.
