Oakland is interested in Rafael Furcal and will consider signing Orlando Cabrera or Edgar Renteria if Furcal proves too expensive. Billy Beane has evidently grown tired of waiting on Bobby Crosby to reach his believe potential. Crosby will be 29 in January and is scheduled to make $5.25 million in 2009, the final year of a five-year, $12.75 million deal.
