The Cubs' pitching schedule will remain intact for the immediate future as Jason Marquis won't be skipped over in his next two starts, according to Chicago Tribune. However, Marquis does have little room for error during his next starts. "He pitched five good innings of baseball and then ran into problems in the sixth," Manager Lou Piniella said of Jason's last start on Friday against Washington. "The way our short people are pitching, if we get the game into the seventh, it makes a big difference. But anyway, let's hope he gives us a good one (Wednesday against Pittsburgh), and we'll go from there."
