Ian Kennedy wasn't phased by his poor outing against the Angels on Friday night and his comments after the loss have yet to be forgotten, according to The New York Post. "It's always disappointing but it's my first bad outing in a long time, since the All-Star break," Kennedy said Friday after the 10-5 loss. "I felt like I made some good pitches and got out of the second inning. I am not too upset about it. You move on and I have already done that. I am not going to look too much into it." Kennedy was lights out in the minor leagues, but is now 0-4 with a 8.17 ERA with the Yankees this season. Some of Kennedy's teammates seemed to still be in disbelief of his comments this weekend. "If he's not worried he should be," a Yankee said of Kennedy's comments.
