Tuesday marked the ten-year anniversary of Kerry Wood's twenty strikeout game at Wrigley Field against the Astros, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. At the time he was a 20-year-old rookie making just his fifth big league start, tying Roger Clemens' strikeout record in front of his home fans. After a myriad of injuries and struggles, Wood is now the Cubs closer. "I've had just about every emotion you can have in those 10 years," said Wood, who as recently as last May was hours away from calling it quits. "It's been a roller coaster, good and bad and indifferent. Sometimes not even there. I've experienced a lot in Chicago."
