The Mets are hoping Paul Lo Duca's hamstring heals quickly and Ramon Castro's back isn't a lingering hindrance. They have catching questions, however, well beyond this season and there are two possible splashy winter solutions - Jorge Posada and Pudge Rodriguez. Both Lo Duca and Castro are free agents after the season and may not be back. Posada and Rodriguez, if the Tigers decline their $13 million option, are by far the class of what is otherwise a weak free agent catching class this winter. As one opposing general manager put it, "Other than that, there isn't a catcher out there."
