Oakland right-hander Justin Duchscherer went on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday with a right hip strain, leaving the Athletics without two of their top relievers. Oakland has nine players on the disabled list, including Duchscherer and closer Huston Street. The A's called up Colby Lewis from Triple-A Sacramento to take Duchscherer's spot and he was slated to start against the White Sox on Tuesday night. Lewis went 5-1 with a 2.31 ERA in eight starts for Sacramento.
