The Atlanta Braves pulled off a comeback win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday night in Game 2 of the NLDS.

Trailing 3-0 in the late innings, the Braves took a 5-4 lead into the top of the ninth inning.

With one out and Bryce Harper on first base, Nick Castellanos drove a ball deep into center field. What looked like an extra base hit turned into the second out thanks to a tremendous catch by Michael Harris II.

As Harris made a jumping catch and braced for the outfield wall, Harper was already rounding second base. Despite an errant throw from Harris, the Braves were able to complete a double play by throwing Harper out before he could get back to first base.

Harper felt his risk was calculated, as if Harris hadn't caught the ball he easily would have scored and tied the game.

"He made a good play," Harper said. "You know, I probably shouldn't have gone over second base. But I made a decision, and I'll live with that. ...Just taking a chance. Michael made a great play and doubled me up. Tough way to end it."

Rob Thomson gave a diplomatic response when asked about Harper's decision.

"Usually you don't pass the base," the manager said. "You stay in front of it, make sure it's not caught. But he thought the ball was clearly over his head, didn't think he was going to catch it. And Harris made an heck of a play. Unbelievable. He tried to get back, and he slipped, but usually you stay in front of the second base."
