Stephen Strasburg felt a pinch in the back of his elbow in his first start since coming off the disabled list on Wednesday night.
Strasburg, who will have an MRI on Thursday, lasted just 2 1/3 innings against the Atlanta Braves. He allowed one run and two hits with four strikeouts and no walks in the outing on 42 pitches. He had been out since Aug. 17 because of soreness in his right elbow.
Dusty Baker said Strasburg had felt a pinch but didn't elaborate on the severity of his injury.
