The Kansas City Royals decided not to shake up their roster ahead of the non-waiver trade deadline because Dayton Moore wants to give his players a chance to rebound from a poor first-half.
"We just felt that we trust our players," Dayton Moore said. "They've done an outstanding job getting us to a point where we've won, and we want to give them a chance to dig back out of this mess that we're in."
The Royals are 50-55 after totaling just seven win in July.
