Padres outfielder Wil Myers is moving through the strength phase of his rehab and will progress to baseball activities late next week, interim manager Pat Murphy said after Saturday's win over the Rockies.
Myers, the 24-year-old who was acquired from the Rays in December, underwent surgery to remove a bone spur in his left wrist in mid-June and was expected to miss two months.
