The Detroit Tigers have lost seven straight games, but Dave Dombrowski doesn't believe it's fair to blame Brad Ausmus for the skid.

"I don't see how you could," Dombrowski told the Detroit News. "If people are laying this on Brad's shoes, that's not fair."

The general manager defended the second-year manager by spreading responsibility throughout the organization.

"I'm not saying we all don't feel accountable. I'm sure he feels accountable," Dombrowski said. "The GM feels accountable. I'm sure the players feel accountable."

The Tigers have gone 17-25 since a scalding 11-2 start.
