The Toronto Blue Jays have demoted Miguel Castro to Triple-A after a rough start to the season.

The rookie right-hander, who has a team-high four saves, allowed two runs in 1 1/3 innings in a mop-up role Sunday.

Castro has a 10.13 ERA with two losses and two blown saves over his past seven appearances.

He had replaced Brett Cecil as the team's closer last month, only to cede the job back to Cecil after his recent struggles.
