The Minnesota Twins are working on a contract extension with Brian Dozier.
There were strong indications on Tuesday that solid progress is being made.
"I'd love to be here," Dozier said. "I don't want to be anywhere else. If the opportunity presents itself, then I'm all for it. We'll see."
Dozier said he signed his one-year deal for 2015 at an undisclosed amount. A source said Dozier and the Twins agreed at $590,000 for 2015.
