The Chicago Cubs have acquired Dexter Fowler from the Houston Astros in exchange for infielder Luis Valbuena and right-handerDan Straily.
The move gives Houston a new third baseman and rotation insurance.
Chicago had reportedly been looking to add another outfielder.
