Carlos Correa, the first overall pick by the Houston Astros in 2012, suffered an apparently serious injury to his leg during a minor league game Saturday night.
Playing for Class A Lancaster, Correa was carried off the field and carted to the clubhouse after sustaining the injury while sliding into third base.
The Antelope Valley Press reported that the 19-year-old shortstop may have suffered a broken right fibula.
