The Miami Marlins have promoted pitching prospect Andrew Heaney, who will make his Major League debut on Thursday.
Heaney's contract was selected from Triple-A New Orleans, where he went 3-0 with a 2.74 ERA in four starts.
The left-hander, 23, was the ninth overall pick in the 2012 draft.
