Having traded Marco Scutaro last week, the Red Sox suddenly have a void at shortstop heading into Spring Training. Manager Bobby Valentine said there's no concrete plan yet at the position. Mike Aviles and Nick Punto are the two in-house options, with Jose Iglesias likely headed to Triple-A. "I have no idea how it's shaping up," Valentine said. "I know how it's going to be anchored, [by third baseman Youkilis], and how he's going to be flanked I'm not sure yet. Mike [Aviles], everything I -- you know, I don't want to speculate on any of that stuff until I can get with my coaches, see what it is individually and collectively, but I'm confident it'll be fine."
