David Wright is going to miss having Jose Reyes as a teammate on the Mets, but says his good friend deserved the contract he signed with the Marlins. Reyes signed a six-year, $106 million contract with Miami this past week. "Jose is a great friend and a great player," Wright said in a statement released Friday by the Mets. "While I will miss him as a friend and teammate, I'm glad he was able to get the contract that he earned and deserved. I truly wish him all the best in Miami." Wright, who has said he expects to be a Met in 2012 rather than be traded, also said: "I have trust and faith that we will have a much improved and exciting team and 2012 will be a great year for the Mets."
