Sore Shoulder Forces Liriano To Miss Start

Twins left-hander Francisco Liriano will miss his next start because of a sore shoulder.
He was scheduled to pitch against the Angels on Saturday.
Anthony Swarzak will start in his place, manager Ron Gardenhire announced.
"He told us late [Friday] afternoon he was sore and they checked him out, and they told me he'd be 50-50," Gardenhire said. "And during the game, the doctors looked at him and said he couldn't pitch. So it'll be a one-start thing I hope."
