Cubs pitcher Andrew Cashner made his first major league start on Tuesday, but left early with shoulder "tightness" He allowed one run on two hits in 5 1/3 innings of work. Chicago named him their fifth starter last week. After feeling tightness in his shoulder, the Cubs pulled him and he was taken to a local hospital for an MRI. "He just felt a little tightness and we're going to be cautious with everybody, especially early in the season," manager Mike Quade said. "He didn't have any trouble in camp. This caught us off guard completely. But he was honest with us, and hopefully we were able to get him out of there before anything bad happened." He left with the Cubs leading 4-1 and showed no outward signs of pain or discomfort.
