No formal offers have been extended, but the Yankees are currently preparing offers for free agents Cliff Lee, Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera, according to sources. Jeter is expected to get a deal first, probably prior to Thanksgiving, with Rivera to follow. Lee isn't expected to decide on a destination until mid-December, after the conclusion of baseball's winter meetings, which run from Dec. 6-9 in Orlando.
