Nationals phenom Stephen Strasburg labored through five innings against the Mets on Saturday afternoon.
Making his sixth Major League start, Strasburg left the game with Washington trailing 2-0.
He threw 37 pitches in the first inning and walked three batters.
He settled down and retired the side in order in the second, but the Nationals didn't give him any support.
