Twins righthander Brad Radke gave up two runs over three innings Thursday as the Twins lost 4-3 to Boston. But Radke said his shoulder feels great and he's on track to be ready by the start of the season. He also threw a few more of his new cut fastballs, which he plans to use against lefthanded hitters during the season. Asked why he's adding a new pitch when he's been in the league so long and could retire after the season. "Because I'm getting old," Radke, 33, said wryly. "I can't go out there with the same slop every five days."
