Shaun Marcum will be the Opening Day starter for the Blue Jays. It will mark the first time in eight years that Roy Halladay, who Toronto dealt to Philadelphia in a three-team deal, isn't the team's Opening Day starter. "I think he's earned it from what he's done in the past," manager Cito Gaston said of Marcum, 12-9 in 2007 and 9-7 in 2008 before a sore elbow ended his season.
