If CC Sabathia leads the Yankees to a win over the Phillies in Game 4 of the World Series, Chad Gaudin just might be a possibility in Monday's Game 5. New York leads Philadelphia 2-1 in the Series. Sabathia is pitching on short rest Sunday, and the Yankees have mentioned using A.J. Burnett on similar rest in Game 5. However, the New York Daily News is speculating that if the Yankees take a 3-1 lead over the Phillies, manager Joe Girardi could start Gaudin in Game 5. That would allow him to start Burnett and Andy Pettitte on regular rest in a possible Game 6 and 7.
