Tampa Bay starter James Shields is "embarrassed" by the team's current 11-game losing streak. "It's embarrassing," Shields told the Associated Press after taking the loss in the second game of a double-header against the Red Sox on Sunday. "Eleven straight losses. Not fun at all. Whether we're in the race or not, we've got to play better baseball." The Rays were outscored 16-2 in a three-game sweep at the hands of the rival Sox. "This whole week has been pretty much negative offense," Rays manager Joe Maddon said.
