Yankees Become Frugal Shoppers At Deadline

As strange as it sounds, the Yankees might be against adding to their payroll as the non-waiver trade deadline approaches.
The Yankees have a payroll of $201 million, the highest in baseball.
The New York Times claims that co-chairman Hal Steinbrenner has told general manager Brian Cashman that he is against the team spending any more money.
