Rockies manager Jim Tracy sees a lot of Pedro Martinez in pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez. "If and when he gets to that point, this guy is the dominant face of the staff and the foundation for stability of the entire rotation," Tracy said. "His arm, how it works and how loose and free it is, it reminds me of a young Pedro Martinez." Jimenez is 3-6 with a 4.37 ERA in 2009. "He's got to get better consistency and complete command of his fastball," Tracy said. "That's when the dominant pitcher he's capable of becoming will show up."
