Twins catcher Joe Mauer had a historic month of May for the team. Mauer hit .414, had a .500 on-base percentage and .838 slugging percentage, all of which led baseball. He's the first Minnesota player ever to hit at least 11 homers and have at least 30 RBI in a month. "That's high school numbers," Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said. "That's not professional baseball numbers. Really, if you think about it ... that's not normal for Major League Baseball. And he's a catcher? That's pretty amazing."
