The Braves have traded reliever Blaine Boyer to the Cardinals in exchange for minor league outfielder Brian Barton. Atlanta had designated Boyer for assigned on Saturday. "I'll miss Atlanta, but I'm fired up right now to be a Cardinal," said Boyer, who had a 40.50 ERA in 1 1/3 innings this season.
