Yankees manager Joe Girardi told the Associated Press on Monday that he feels good about the team heading into the season. "I do feel good about this team," Girardi said. "I like the depth of our rotation. I like the fact that we have kids pitching at Triple-A that have big-league experience. I like the fact that you send a kid like Phil Hughes down who has a very good spring training and competed at a high level. I feel like we have a lot more depth in that area. That's an area we didn't have depth in last year." New York missed the postseason for the first time in more than a decade in 2008, Girardi's first campaign with the team.
