The Rangers have made $4 million worth of upgrades to the team's Ballpark in Arlington for this season. An electronic scoreboard ribbon circling the field, premium seats behind home plate and new outfield wall padding are a part of the upgrades. "We think the new video board is going to give fans that didn't have the opportunity to see replays in the past a replay, and then we'll have the ribbon board," Rangers president Nolan Ryan said. "It will give us another opportunity for advertisement and also bring excitement to the ballpark. I think it's going to increase the fan experience here."
