Manny And Dodgers Still Far Apart
Jun 24, 2014 11:42 AM
Manny Ramirez has told the Dodgers that he wants a deal for four or five years, and it's believed that he's looking to be paid in the range of $25 million a year. The Dodgers haven't budged from their $45 million, two-year offer.
One executive whose team is interested in Ramirez said that he believes the Dodgers and Ramirez are no further along than the "fourth inning" of the negotiations.
The Dodgers and Giants are currently seen as the two most active pursuers of Ramirez.
