Former Tigers' outfielder Jacque Jones cleared waivers on Thursday morning and could become a member of the Marlins very soon, according to The South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "We've started some dialogue with a number of clubs," his agent Damon Lapa said. "Ever since he technically became free there's been an uptick in intensity. He's weighing all his options." Jones can play all three outfield positions and will be paid almost $5.5 million by the Tigers this season.
