The Cardinals have stopped Mark Mulder's rehab assignment because of a mild rotator cuff strain in his left shoulder, according to the Associated Press.
Mulder, who is attempting a comeback from a pair of surgeries, was examined by a team doctor on Wednesday.
He will rest for ten days before being re-evaluated.
