Marlins Interested In Orlando Cabrera

Based on his $9 million salary from last year, Orlando Cabrera would have likely been bumped up to $10 million for a one-year deal if he would have accepted arbitration from the White Sox.

The Blue Jays and Marlins have shown some interest in Cabrera, but any team that signs the ?Type A? free agent owes the Sox a high draft pick.

RealGM Note: Cabrera was ranked 197th in season FIC and 'deserved' to make $4.75 million in 2008.
