He suggested on Thursday morning that Pujols will receive "two to three games" off a month. "There is no way that I would eliminate him from any conversation about it," La Russa said. "If the doctors, the trainers, and myself looked at it and we think it was a good day coming up (to take off) and he said, 'I feel great,' I would definitely respect his input into that decision." The Cardinals secured the long-term services of Adam Wainwright on Thursday, agreeing to terms on a new four-year contract, as reported by Yahoo.com.
