M's Wanted Jackson Or Montero From Yanks For Washburn

Jackson and Montero are considered New York's two best position-player prospects.

The Yankees made a counteroffer consisting of lesser prospects, and the Mariners moved on and dealt Washburn to the Tigers on Friday morning.
