Griffey Hasn't Made Decision About Retirement

Ken Griffey Jr. hasn't yet decided whether this season will be his last.

"I haven't made any decision" about retiring "and won't until the off-season, until we have time to decide what we want to do," Griffey said.

Griffey has mainly played designated hitter for Seattle, but played some left field against the Dodgers this past weekend.

Nats, Mariners Swap Minor Leaguers

The Nationals and Mariners have swapped minor league outfielders Ryan Langerhans and Mike Morse.

Washington acquired Morse, who can also play in the infield, for Langerhans.

The move doesn't affect either team's the 40-man roster.

Mariners Are Leaving Options Open

The Mariners are keeping their options open, even as third baseman Adrian Beltre heads for the disabled list.

"I think you leave all your options open. Obviously, there have been a lot of talks over the last month on a lot of different scenarios. Nothing is imminent," general manager Jack Zduriencik said.

"At this moment, I don't anticipate anything, That's not to say, as you move forward, the next day creates something that wasn't there today. I think everyone is aware of everyone else's situation. When they see what's happened here recently, or we look at other clubs...but at this time, we are where we are, and we'll try to do the best we can with where we're at."
