Bench Coach Jim Riggleman will run the Mariners for the rest of their lost season, beginning Friday night in Atlanta, as reported by the Associated Press.

Putz already has missed 18 games this season with a rib cage injury and also has had knee and finger pain. He was removed from Wednesday?s win at Toronto in the ninth inning after shaking his arm following a pitch.
