Indians Acquire Rosario, Completing Trade With Mariners

The Indians acquired 19-year-old pitcher Gregorio Rosario on Friday, completing a trade with the Mariners.

Rosario has pitched two seasons for Seattle's Dominican summer league team and is a 11-4 with a 3.01 ERA in 23 starts. The right-hander was in extended spring training in Peoria, Ariz.

Mariners Acquire Davis From Indians To Bolster Bullpen

The Mariners bolstered their bullpen on Sunday, acquiring right-hander Jason Davis from the Indians for a player to be named.

Davis has appeared in eight games this season and has no record with a 4.76 ERA for the Indians. He has spent his entire career in the Indians organization and was 3-2 with a 3.74 ERA in 39 games last year.

Felix On Target For Tuesday Return

Felix Hernandez got a good report a day after throwing a simulated game. Hernandez, who has been out since April 18 with an elbow strain, played catch for 20 minutes Wednesday and reported no pain. He's on target to make his return Tuesday at home against the Angels.
