Ichiro May Hit Trading Block

If the Mariners do not agree to an extension with Ichiro Suzuki, a trade before the July 31st deadline will be a legitimate option for the team.

"It's a top priority, but the timing is not that important," GM Bill Bavasi said about getting Suzuki signed to an extension. "It's not going to be a huge issue. He's a special player, but I think Seattle is a special place for him too."
