He has started playing in extended spring training games and could rejoin San Francisco by mid-May. Sanchez missed all of spring training after undergoing surgery on his non-throwing left shoulder in December. He's also coming off left knee surgery. Giants president Larry Baer said, ?It?s possible we could have some relationship? with groups that are trying to buy the Golden State Warriors. Baer, in a recent interview with the Business Times, said that the Giants have been approached by different groups looking to buy the Warriors.
