Giants Won't Give Pitchers Extra Rest

The Giants don't plan to give their top pitchers any extra rest as the regular season comes to a close, according to The Mercury News.

"There's no plan, but we don't want to overwork them in September, either," said manager Bruce Bochy. "If they're laboring or showing signs they need a break, we'll do it."
